

If you see the same error message, try the next solution. Then, if other options are available in the drop-down menu, select another location, select Apply, change it back to the original location or to This PC (C:), and then select Apply again. Under New photos and videos will save to, select the current save location. If pictures and videos are being saved to an external device, make sure that device is connected. This is usually a name with a disk drive letter, such as This PC (C:) or, on mobile, This device. Look to see what's listed under New photos and videos will save to.
